Monitors and reviews financial data of University Libraries' 130+ fund accounts with 35 faculty librarians. Accumulates, interprets, and forecasts budget expenditures based on past annual collection purchases. 

Reviews, analyzes, and resolves complex invoicing problems. Verifies that information on Serial and Monograph invoices is correct for final payment. For problems that cannot be resolved internally, communicates with publishers, vendors and other University departments. 

Tracks, analyzes, and reconciles data and payments for University Libraries with the University's financial system (UC Flex). Recommends changes in procedures and methods to improve efficiency.   </description>

The University of Cincinnati invites applications and nominations for the position of Department Head, College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning (DAAP) Library.  We seek a service-oriented individual committed to providing leadership for the delivery of responsive, innovative and quality information services that support the needs of a highly interdisciplinary College community.  The DAAP Librarian works collaboratively with DAAP faculty, librarians and others to develop and coordinate both digital and print collections and services.    This faculty position reports to and receives direction from the Associate Dean of Library Services and is responsible for all staff in the DAAP Library including the graduate assistants and the students.  On collection matters, this position receives guidance from and consults with the Assistant Dean for Collections.

Environment:  The Design, Art, Architecture and Planning Library is one of 11 libraries in the organization known as the University of Cincinnati Libraries.
