Library Advisory Services Supporting Interests and Entertainment (LASSIE) is a SWON Libraries interest group devoted to patron advisory services. The group initially began with a focus on readers advisory, but soon expanded its scope to include all forms of patron advisory, such as movie and music advisory. We are interested in learning about and promoting advisory in all formats, in all genres and for all demographics. The goal of our meetings is to provide practical information that you can use with your patrons at your library. We share tips and tricks, discuss common problems and try to find ways to fill training gaps. Please join us for some of our upcoming events!
